MEET OUR COACHES

The following coaches have been approved by our Board to coach Club skaters on Club ice. The coaches are independent contractors so please contact them directly to find out their availability as well as rates. You will also decide with your coach how many times you should skate per week as well as how many lessons you will need in order to reach your skating goals.

From time to time there may be guest coaches teaching. Guest coaches also get Board approval to teach. All non-club coaches wishing to teach on our ice must show proof of USFS membership and liability insurance with USFS and/or PSA.

  • Experience: 30+ years coaching skaters through Gold Figure, Gold Freeskate, Gold and International Dance, Senior Moves and Novice Pairs. Has coached at the Regional, Sectional and National level.
  • Other Credentials: member of RRVFSC, USFS and PSA. Category A coach and has Basic Accreditation, Registered Freeskate rating, and Level I and II Hockey Accreditation. Director of Moorhead Parks Basic Skills program and their annual Ice Show for the past 25+ years.

  • Experience: 28 years coaching skaters through Gold Figure, Gold Freeskate, Gold and International Dance, and Senior Moves. Has coached at the Regional and Sectional level. Has skaters that have or are skating with Disney on Ice. Has presented seminars on freeskate and moves to area clubs and skaters.
  • Other Credentials: member of RRVFSC, USFS and PSA. Category A coach with Basic Accreditation. Assistant Director of the Moorhead Parks Basic Skills program and their annual Ice Show.

  • Experience: 30+ years coaching skaters through the 7th Figure, Gold Freeskate, Gold Dance, and Senior Moves. Has coached at the Regional and Sectional level.
  • Other Credentials: Member of RRVFSC, USFS and PSA. Director of the Fargo Parks Skating program and their annual Ice Revue for the past 20 years.

Michelle Romon

Assistant Coach
  • Skating Background: Third Figure, Gold Freeskate, Gold Moves.
  • Experience: Have coached individuals for the past 15 years and group lessons for the past 15 years in the Moorhead Parks Basic Skills program. Head instructor for the spring and summer RRVFSC Basic Skills program.
  • Other Credentials: Member of RRVFSC, USFS and PSA. Choreograph Ice Show programs and individual programs. Competed at the Regional level.

Katie Paseka

Assistant Coach
  • Skating Background: Gold Dance, Jr. International Dance, Sr. International Dance, Bronze Free Dance, Senior MIF, Gold Free Skate, 2nd Figure.
  • Experience: Have coached individuals for the past 15 years & group lessons for the past 15 years in the Moorhead Parks & Red River Valley FSC Basic Skills programs.
  • Other Credentials: Member of RRVFSC and USFS. Registered, Category B coach with USFS. Choreograph Ice Show group & individual programs.

Chalcee Schuck

Assistant Coach
  • Skating Background: Gold Free Skate, Gold Dance, Gold Moves in the Field.
  • Experience: 15+ years coaching experience.
  • Other Credentials: Member of RRVFSC, USFS and PSA. Category A Coach. Bachelor of Science degrees in Physical Education and Psychology. Competed at the Regional Level as well as the National Collegiate Championships.
